The UK’s Top Exhibition Venues
All over the UK, there are some fine exhibition venues and event locations. Trade shows and exhibitions need not be limited to the capital. Here are some of the the UK’s top exhibition venues.
It’s not all about the NEC, or Excel, the rest of the country is also well served with some fine exhibition, trade show and event locations.
The south-west is well served by this amazing venue. A 4500 square meter, column free, exhibition space which is set in 150 acres of maintained grounds (the Devon County Show takes place here). It is located just a mile from the motorway and within 5 miles of a mainline railway station and international airport. A huge, free car parking is served by a network of tarmac roads too.
A 600 mile journey from Exeter will find you in Aberdeen. If you thought Westpoint was large, you’ll be impressed with the 9000 square meters available in the main arena here. Huge 5m x 5m roller doors will get most equipment in fully assembled. There are services in the sub floor ducting. A further hall, also pillar free, boasts a further 6000 square meters.
The Ricoh Arena in Coventry is another venue with excellent transport links. Only 20 minutes from Birmingham International Airport and less than half a mile from the M6. The venue even boasts its own railway station. The halls and lounges have an impressive total of 20,000 square meters of space available. Everything can be arranged onsite, much of the space can be flexible, due to the modular construction. The main hall can be one large 6000 square meter, pillar free space, or broken down into sections of 2000 or 4000.
The venue is also famous for its sporting facilities, including hosting Premiership rugby as the home of Wasps.
South Wales is also well served with this impressive venue. The location adds atmosphere, as it is very much part of the city. The main railway station is only a few minutes away and Cardiff International Airport only a 30 minute drive. The flexible layout of the space can host upwards of 5000 delegates. The exhibition space can include acoustic partitions if an event requires separate presentation areas.
Cardiff is right on trend, later in the year it will be hosting The Gin To My Tonic show.
A mighty venue. There are so many flexible options for hosting exhibitions at this famous location (formerly The G-Mex Centre). The arched ceiling in the Central Hall would be a dramatic backdrop for any exhibition. In total the Central could have 40,000 delegates over a mammoth 20,000 square meters of space. Manchester’s multi-modal transport network will bring visitors in seamlessly and Manchester Airport is only 9 miles away. The Digital Transformation Expo and Healthcare Estates Conference and Exhibition are two of the many trade exhibitions happening in Manchester in 2020.
The UK boasts many fine exhibition facilities. This is just a taster of what is on offer outside of the great venues in the capital.
